Learn how to adapt hospital operations to be more patient focused

Hospitals face operational issues every day that can negatively affect the experience of patients. These include delays, lengthy hospital stays for patients, and barriers to patient flow management.

In this course, you will analyse the operational issues hospitals encounter and learn how you can address them. You will explore strategies and solutions to improve the patient experience and manage the patient journey as a whole.

This course is designed for a wide range of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, allied health workers and administration staff, who already work – or are interested in working in - hospital settings

Describe the challenges of delays and patient flow in the hospital operations context ,Identify the key theories (systems thinking), models (BPR) and frameworks being used to identify these challenges ,Evaluate the difference between Patient Flow and Patient Journey and the different metrics for improving patient experience
